Meet Rebekah Lambert, the freelancer known as Unashamedly Creative.
I’m super passionate about creative copywriting, content creation, marketing strategy, consumer research, social media and all things word nerd related in the business world. The words ‘marketing geek’ are a sincere understatement!
For the past 4 years, I have been a Sydney based freelancer working as a creative copywriter, content creator, marketing strategist and social media manager.
I’ve worked with all kinds of creative people, not for profits, small to medium sized businesses and the Australian startup scene. And I actively promote the freelance scene by creating the Freelance Jungle support network and regularly work with freelancers to make their business model stronger.
Career highlights include naming joint ABC, Education Services Australia and Federal Government digital education portal, ABC Splash. I’ve worked as Creative Writer the world’s most awarded virtual world for kids in Space Heroes Universe (gaming and TV). And supported award winning Australian collaborative consumption startup, Open Shed, in all things marketing, social media and copywriting related.
Prior to life as a freelancer, I worked as a Business Manager and Account Director in the below the line marketing agency space. I serviced the marketing campaign, sales channel logistics and procurement, and event needs of Hewlett-Packard, SanDisk, Seagate, Intel, Avaya, Alcatel, Optus SMB and Walt Disney Internet Group at ANZ level.
Before this, community management and product design in online dating was my career.
I spent 7 years at in the internet dating space with Lavalife INC in the product design and marketing departments. I worked across all manner of events, promotions and direct customer engagement campaigns while coordinating the feature roll outs and product testing for the Lavalife and Manline IVR products.
My goal is to use my experiences to help small businesses, great product ideas and startups grow and succeed.
If you’re looking for a freelancer to help take your business idea or product to the next level by all means, drop me a line.
