The rise and rise of Swap Creative

Now that the holidays are out of the way, the Unashamedly Creative office has come back with a lot of bang and buzz for 2011- with the majority of interest being generated from barter marketing product, Swap Creative.

Swap Creative came about through wanting to satiate the desire to assist small businesses, most of whom usually lack budget to do major marketing activity, as well as regain some of the “niceties” lost after moving away from a steady salary towards working as a one person, one Labrador operation. For something which is rather unusual, that is bartering marketing, copy writing and product management to businesses in exchange for access to goods and services, the results have been quite outstanding.

The first signed Swap Creative client is the Alexandria Hotel, a beautifully restored pub in Alexandria nestled next to the Technology Park. This local haven is arguably the best pub in the Redfern/Alexandria area featuring Sydney’s largest tropical beer garden, a great kitchen and primo coffee and a focus on family friendly quality service. Watch in 2011 as Unashamedly Creative takes the reins of their social media and website copy to new levels in exchange for the often missed social night out. And the best thing, even Morale Officer Gibson can come to the beer garden for a nice bowl of water and a soak in tropical wonder.

Next has been “Tom Stone and the Soldiers of Fortune”. A blues rock band with the chunky sounds of the 70’s and jamtastic song writing, “Tom Stone and the Soldiers of Fortune” will be calling on the assistance of Unashamedly Creative for the launch of their album and subsequent tour schedules and promotions for 2011 in exchange for all the gig tickets we can use. Not a bad way to start your barter marketing adventure!

Little nibbles have also come across during the silly season and soon, Unashamedly Creative could be working with a gourmet provedore, an online clothing line and one of Australia’s newest and most exciting ventures for creative practitioners. More details shall be released over the coming weeks as things are finalised, but let’s just say the future looks extremely bright for barter marketing product Swap Creative in the food, clothes and entertainment arenas.
